University of Toronto China Conference is hiring!

Following the success of the 2008 University of Toronto China Conference, with over 150 delegates attending the conference and speeches made by prominent speakers such as Pierre Pettigrew (former Minister of Foreign Affairs), Sarah Kutulakos (Executive Director of China Canada Business Council), and Don Brean (Professor of Finance, Rotman School of Management), it is time to launch another great year for UTCC.

UTCC is currently recruiting for the following positions. Applications are open to all students from University of Toronto, regardless of program or campus.

VP of Conference Logistics – 1
VP of Technology – 1

Why YOU should become a part of the executive team of UTCC:

Increased exposure to international academic/business events and knowledge related to Asia/China development
(e.g. Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations, China Canada Business Council, Hong Kong Canada Business Association etc.)

Establish and maintain network contacts with academics and corporate representatives with interests in China/Asia’s development: e.g. representatives from Rotman, TD Waterhouse Canada Inc etc.

Implement your vision and ideas on how to expand and improve the conference, including collaboration with other organizations, creation of conference theme and panel topics, invitation of speakers, international visits, workshops and seminars etc.

Meet and work with University of Toronto students from different programs, or even different campuses with diversified academic interests but with a common goal to succeed.
